The purpose of this course is to provide students with the latest information on company law, characteristics of the management systems and of legal statuses of their participants (particularly shareholders and directors) of the companies operating in international and European environment, as well as to train students' skills in application of this information to specific legal situations related to incorporation and management of companies, to identify legal problems emerging in this field and to provide effective solutions to these problems.
This course aims to enable students to obtain knowledge about the most important principles, forms and methods of international business taxation as well as to train students; skills in identifying tax consequences of performing international business and mitigating respective tax risks.
The course aims to enable students to acquire knowledge in the International Law and European Labour Law, acquire abilities to implement the acquired knowledge professionally explaining new International and European Labour Law standards and its evolution, to asses different phenomena related to the employees' rights in cases related to various business activities and to propose effective decisions for problem solutions.
This course teaches students about the introduction of the system of compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, monitoring of the effectiveness of compliance control in companies, the risks of non-compliance with tax laws, as well as the risks of violation of anti-corruption legislation. Students will study best practices in compliance, self-regulation instruments, including Codes of Responsible Business Conduct. Through solving situational tasks in the format of business games, students will identify and assess the risks of violation of anti-corruption legislation.
This in-depth course deals with advanced topics of international trade law of particular relevance for students who wish to pursue a career in this field. Building upon the basic knowledge of the law of the World Trade Organization (WTO) acquired in the course 'International Trade Law', this advanced course explores the challenging topics that are at the core of current trade policy, in a world of complex interdependence in global value chains, increasing economic nationalism and unilateralism and proliferating preferential trade agreements.
This course is centered around the study of international commercial arbitration, as well as the practice of resolving specific disputes. The course is delivered in a round-table format which students analyze the dispute resolution system in international commercial arbitration. Students will additionally solve situational problems through business games that challenge them to determine and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the dispute resolution system in international commercial arbitration.

The language of instruction is carried out in English.
Classes are conducted with the assistance of legal practitioners who work in the fields of law, business, finance and banking.
Second year at Mykolas Romeris University
Students will be studying in one of Europe's leading universities, gaining advanced knowledge in the field of international business law.
Upon successful graduation students will have all the assets necessary to seek employment with top international private and public entities such as KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, EY, WTO and the other major European governmental agencies.

Masters dissertation
Students registered for the program will be required to write a dissertation paper and defend it in front of a commission. The commission will be formed of representatives of both Narxoz and Mykolas Romeris . The dissertation defense will be held online.
The Master thesis will be written in accordance with the methodological guidelines of Mykolas Romeris Law School. The Master Thesis will be defended orally by students at Mykolas Romeris University, while representatives of Narxoz University will be involved in reviewing and participating in the defense panel.
